How to Pack for a Successful Road Trip
Road trips can be a great time to create memories and enjoy spending extensive time with those you love. However, being prepared with the right equipment for your trip is important. Here is a list of a few things to check off your list before hitting the open road.
Vehicle Essentials
You’ll want to start with the basics. Of course, you aren’t going to want to leave without your driver’s license, vehicle registration, or proof of insurance. This ensures you are driving legally. In addition, you’ll want a roadside kit. This is good for emergencies. A few basic things to include in your roadside kit include:
- Jumper cables
- Flashlight with spare batteries
- Vehicle fuses
- First aid kit
- Bottled water
You may have put some of these items in your vehicle when you first found your new Ford for sale. In addition to these items, make sure you know how to use your jumper cables and change your car’s fuses. You should also keep some basic tools in your vehicle to ensure you’re prepared.
Communication Tools
You’re likely relying on your cell phone for navigation, music, and, of course, to communicate with people. Include a charger and a mobile charging device for charging them. If you want a backup, then consider having a paper map or atlas with you. This may be helpful if you will be traveling in areas that don’t have good cell service. Ensure the maps are current so you don’t find yourself stuck in the middle of nowhere. If you’re traveling in multiple cars, you might have a walkie-talkie to communicate between vehicles. Again, this can be useful in areas with spotty service.
Snacks and Comfort Items
Being in the car for hours at a time can be taxing, especially if you aren’t prepared. Bring things like snacks and water bottles to ensure your hunger and thirst are addressed. Car pillows and a small blanket can be useful if you want to catch a nap while someone else drives. Consider bringing a travel cooler so your drinks and refreshments can stay chilled. Getting magazines, books, or a book of crossword puzzles can help pass the time when on the road.
Child and Pet Supplies
If traveling with children or pets, you will want some basic supplies. For small children, bring some diapers, wipes, and some snacks that are safe for them to eat. Consider getting some toys to help keep them entertained. For pets, you will want some travel food, water bowls, and a collar and leash for taking them on potty breaks during the drive. During those breaks, be sure to walk them around for a few minutes, so they have a chance to get rid of some excess energy.
Always Be Prepared
These items can ensure you are prepared when you hit the road and that you will enjoy your trip. Pack these items beforehand so you aren’t stressed at the last minute and less likely to forget anything. Enjoy your trip and the memories being made with your family.

5 British Traditions To Experience In The UK
Here are five fascinating British traditions from casinoroo online casino.
1.) British Morris Dancing
The earliest records of Morris Dancing date back to the 15th Century where “peasants” would dance the evening away. With over 500 years of tradition, passed down through generations, Morris Dancers can usually be found at most Summer Fetes dressed and dancing to impress the crowds! If you ask nicely, they will even let you join in at certain points so you too can try the tradition.
2.) British Maypole Dancing
Predominant in Britain and other parts of Europe, the Maypole is a tall wooden pole that people traditionally dance around on May Day or Whitsun. The earliest records of Maypole dancing occurred in 14th Century Wales. Historians believe that people danced around the Maypole for a number of reasons. 1) To possibly promote fertility 2) To create a symbolic place where local villages (often feuding) could come together in peace, or, 3.) Due to the Pagan notion of the universe being related to a tree (which I had no idea). Whatever the reason, it’s great fun…
3.) English Cheese Rolling
Yup, as bizarre as it sounds! Cheese rolling is held every year at Coopers Hill in Gloucester, usually on the annual spring bank holiday – where thousands of people will literally roll and chase a 9lb barrel of Gloucestershire cheese down the hill. It is thought that this festival comes from the Pagan celebrations for the end of winter, whereby barrels and burning bush would be rolled down the hill. Anyone can choose to take part just like the games at jeux de casino en argent reel.
4.) A British Bonfire Night
Bonfire Night is an event that is filled with fireworks, bonfires, sparklers and lots of toffee apples! Yum! Each year we celebrate the failed plot of Guy Fawkes in trying to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 17th Century London. He had filled the whole cellar with hundreds of barrels of gunpowder and was ready to ignite – thankfully his plan was foiled and the Houses of Parliament were saved! Now we celebrate by lighting the “gunpowder” (eg fireworks) and creating a big fire. This is one of my favourite events in the UK. It’s held every year on November the 5th. Most villages, towns and cities will have a number of places to partake in Bonfire Night. You can even host your own too.
5.) Bog snorkelling
From my home country of Wales, Bog Snorkelling has to be one of the strangest of our traditions. Each year a competitive event, in Llanwrtyd Wells, is held where locals and visitors alike can be crowned a champion “bog snorkeller”. New York travel insurance
Is travel insurance necessary when you go to New York? This is a question that I am asked regularly. And that I am going to try to answer in this article. Putting the pros and cons of hiring the insurance.
What does travel insurance offer you?
Travel insurance has three parts:
- Cancellation of the trip.
- Loss or delay in the arrival of luggage.
- Healthcare
In the first two cases, its function is clear, although we must bear in mind that credit cards or airlines normally cover the loss, damage, or delayed arrival of luggage, so we are going to focus on health care, which is without a doubt the most interesting.
Healthcare in the USA
And since there is no agreement between the Spanish Social Security or the European Union with the United States, any small incident you have during the trip (a sprain, high fever,…) you will have to cover the costs of health care you have private health insurance, which includes assistance abroad in its coverage unless you have taken out travel insurance. In addition, by not having health coverage, expenses in the United States skyrocket, and a simple thing, such as an X-ray and a bandage, can skyrocket up to a thousand euros, not to mention if hospitalization or surgery is already necessary, in which the amounts can skyrocket above 10,000 euros, especially if there is a hospitalization or surgery, or if you want to repatriate the patient.
So, if you have private health insurance in your country, the best thing you can do is call and ask if it includes assistance in the United States and with what amounts, and if it also includes repatriation in case of an accident.
What amounts should I hire?
Although before we recommended lower figures, now with COVID-19 I recommend you not to take out travel insurance that does not cover a minimum of 450,000 or 500,000 euros in health and hospital expenses, you save very little if you reduce that amount, and thus you will cover any unforeseen event, although as always we hope you don’t have to use it at all.
Recommended travel insurance
That is what has happened to me, I have never had to use health insurance. So I cannot give you my experience with any of them. But here I leave you four insurances that are the ones that have the best marks on the Internet and which are the ones I usually hire for my trips abroad outside the European Union.
Intermundial
A world leader in travel insurance, Intermundial is another company that I recommend for your trips.
Allianz Assistance
It is the leading company in the market. And it is the travel insurance that they offer you when you contract the trip on websites such as Expedia or similar. The German insurer is a guarantee if you have problems during your trip. They have its own network of centers in the United States. They can offer you the best service during your trip, and it is the one I usually hire if I travel to an exotic country or on stays short. In addition, we have obtained a 10% discount for you if you write the discount code AZNY10 when doing the simulation.
IATI insurance
This is the insurance that I usually hire for my trips to the United States. They are very famous on the Internet, they are recommended by almost all travel bloggers. Because they have very good prices, and both the coverage. And the opinions of users who, unfortunately, have had to make use of it. In addition, if you click on our link you will automatically get a 5% discount on the rate they offer you on their own website.

Discover New York by Water Taxi
In recent years, shared boat or launch services have proliferated in New York. Which allow you to go from one point to another by sea. Although there are several shared boat services, with different companies operating on the East River or the Hudson, today I am going to talk about one that allows us to get a ticket to use their services for a day as many times as we want: the Water Taxi.
How to Identify a Water Taxi?
The Water Taxi boats are easily identifiable, as they are painted yellow exactly like the New York taxis, and it is an original way of getting around New York, especially if you have bought a New York Pass tourist card because of its price The use of this service for one day is included.
Water Taxi Stops
Water Taxi has established four stops in New York, which in the order in which they are made during the tour are the following:
- 39th Street stop, on the Hudson, right next to the Intrepid
- Stop at Battery Park, next to the World Trade Center
- Pier 11 stop, near Wall Street or South Street Seaport
- Stop at Brooklyn Bridge Park, right next to the River Cafe or the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory
Finally, the boat returns to the initial stop but before that, it will stop for a few minutes at the Statue of Liberty so you can take some pictures with Lady Liberty, before going up the entire Hudson.
Journey Time and Recommendations
The entire journey takes about an hour and a half if you don’t get off at any of the 4 Water Taxi stops. And it’s a great way to see all of New York from the sea. If you have the New York Pass and your hotel is located in Midtown, I recommend the following plan:
- Get the ticket for the Water Taxi in Brooklyn Bridge Park. After crossing the bridge and getting to know all this area and DUMBO.
- Take the boat and go to 39th street, the boat trip will take approximately the same as if you did it by subway with the advantage that you have another perspective of New York from the water. It also leaves you right next to the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, so it can be a good time to visit it or to return to your hotel.
- Get back on the boat and go to Battery Park and go visit the Financial District and the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
Water Taxi Hours
- From 10 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon, with departures every half hour / forty minutes approximately.
Rates (the year 2019)
- Unlimited rides for one day Adult: $37
- Unlimited rides for one day Children (3-12 years): $31
- It is included in the New York Pass tourist card.

How do I start cycling at home?
Cycling has become a very popular form of transportation in recent years. This is partly due to the fact that it is considered to be one of the most eco-friendly and cost-effective forms of transport. However, cycling can be quite intimidating for new riders. And that’s why we have prepared this article with all the necessary information about how to start cycling at home.
How to start cycling at home?
There are many approaches to start cycling at home. And not only that – it’s really important to learn how and when you should cycle for the best effect, which is completely different than learning how and when to cycle on a bicycle.
Manage space
Ensure that there is enough space both in your living room, dining room, and/or garage.
In order to find the amount which you will need for your first bicycle(s), consult. Do not hesitate to mail us with other questions about how much space you’ll need or if there’s anything else we can help you reconfigure. It’s also very important when building the bicycle frame that: There is enough space for the wheel axles to turn smoothly, including in corners.
The training space
It is absolutely necessary to clean the whole living room or basement before exercising. If you exercise inside, be careful not to bring dirt into every nook and cranny of the house.
The supply chest with all basic equipment (tires, wheels lock, etc.) should also be brought home in advance and pre-assembled so that everything can quickly follow after a good training program starts in your garage.
Get the right accessories
A saddle is not only used for pedaling a bike. Choose the one that will fit you perfectly and is comfortable to sit on in every position and at any angle. And do buy quality aftermarket saddles, as they offer much more support than mass-produced plastic ones produced by large brands (i.e., Schwinn hybrid). A higher seat post: Contrary to popular belief, having a high seat height improves control over your bicycle during steep declines or at speed. Moreover, the bike should have a high seat height to be able to fit the rider in any position. At least 24 inches seems ideal; the best approach is to measure yourself and get it right on your first bicycle frame. If you can’t afford an expensive saddle pad for flat pedals, there are also decent alternatives that won’t cost too much money: Velox rubber pads (which can also protect other parts from damage).
Find a workout
You can do long-distance rides, a quick 10 to 20 min. ride in the morning right after waking up is no problem, but if you decide to dedicate an hour of your day every day or even several hours (or more), there are advanced training programs that will guide and motivate you through the whole process step by step towards reaching your fitness goals.
Do a fitness test
Get your blood pressure, check if you are ok with an accurate heart rate monitor, and do a fitness test with incline bikes as well: The experts used the following criteria to evaluate the cycling performance (in order of efficacy):
Maximum oxygen uptake Maximum exercise artery resistance Exercise tolerance. Anaerobic threshold. The cycle ergometer is adequate here. Vmax ) This means that in small values, it can be higher than VO2 max, which indicates that the cyclist is anaerobic. As a rule of thumb, anaerobic athletes can perform at speeds between 45-60% VO2 max.
It is necessary to have measurements done on many occasions during your training journey before reaching 65% because one day, you might hit this threshold – and then it would be very difficult to surpass it in the long run. Aerobically speaking can be thought of as not fussy.
Set the time
There are supposedly a million ways to measure and specify yourself with the bike, but my personal favorite was always an hour or two doing short rides every day.
This is not at all expensive if you like riding in rows (and there’s no need to hire instructors). Each person has their preferences when it comes to training methods, so experiment with different options before settling down on something – daily rides sound good! A lot of cyclists loves standing up a lot of time on their bike.
Taking a break after 20-30 min can be good too, even more so if you train hard and fast over some hills, as this allows you to take enough oxygen when riding at high intensity later in the workout. (I do everything for myself).
Your break should not last two hours – 10 minutes per hour is statistically similar to a 10-15% slower pace than the average tempo speed that you should have been performing earlier. If you’ve got a great leg workout session but only have 15 minutes to spare and no time to rest.
The benefits of cycling at home
Using the bike at home is one of the best self-training methods you can have available.
Increased training volume – by around 5% Also, track riders are very large in body size. A pro cyclist will be just as big, if not even more than a man 1, and such a huge frame usually needs a lot of muscle to carry it for optimal performance (in cycling, strength counts most). This advantage is lost when using bicycles for long periods of time (think track – 500 km hard training a day).
You can work on the form when cycling to your gym. If you are finding it uncomfortable riding very long distances compared with what you’re used to, try doing short rides at the beginning that also put some leg power and endurance into good use later in training. Conclusion
Cycling is a great way to get fit and improve your health. With the right equipment, you can go for long distances, which means cycling will also help you burn calories. However, it’s important to be safe when cycling so that you don’t end up hurting yourself or damaging your bike. We have created a checklist of safety tips for beginners who want to cycle at home. Where to place humidifier?
Humidifiers help you to combat dry air and maintain a comfortable living environment. But you have to decide where exactly to place your humidifier. It’s not an easy decision because humidifiers are available in a variety of shapes and sizes. If you’re looking for one that looks good in your home, then take a look at our list of the best-looking humidifiers.
Where to place humidifier?
Place your humidifier on the floor. Why? Because it will serve as a natural air filter and means that there is no need to submerge any other appliance in water because this one does all work itself. Place necessary items, such as plants with drooping leaves, under the faucet, or remove some books from shelves. You can also place a small wicker mesh tray before placing the bedroom wall so it works doing what an everyday window fan would do. Place the furnace vent just above it, too, so you will have 2 benefits from one item – room dehumidification and fan exhaustion.
If you have a dry eye issue, the humidifier for dry eyes will be best for you. Never place a humidifier under a curtain as you will get droopy of curtains which will block your view onto the night sky and make sleeping difficult at times or impossible, depending on where exactly your humidifier stands.
Perfect location
A good location is a key to any good health. The upper part of the body requires more circulation, and warm air rises, so it would do better in such an environment. Place humidifier near windows because they will get that much-needed moisture: shown by medical studies, people with dry skin or who work outside all day need humidity contained in their homes, where the indoor temperature should be around 60°F (16°C) during winter months (example 14°C to 10°C is often used as the range for hot and cold days in winter, or 11-15°F; 12 – 5.6℃ depending on what kind of climate is taken into consideration).
When you have a bathroom with a shower vent at the top level, it allows both humidifying processes by releasing warm moist air downward (into your bathroom) and some little exhausts upwards so that there will be more freshness near the floor level.
One of the advantages of using beautiful decor is that it opens the possibility for placing items in unusual locations – next to an arch, over the mantelpiece, and so on 🙂 In such cases, we use a few tricks: You can place cool mist or ultrasonic models under the console table or briefcase. Move them around and create a mobile installation design.
For example, low-humidity applications (where a low level of moisture is required) can be placed in spaces with lower temperatures. We use them for the whole month – adding on top of warm air circulating from the floor and bottom vent, which brings the temperature up, makes it more pleasant to live there day by day.
Place A Humidifier In The Center Of The Room
The advantage of locating the humidifier in a central location is that it will provide mist directly to any room. Pay attention to not placing this apparatus closer than 10-12 inches (for ultrasonic models) and 16-20″ for cool mist ventilators. Otherwise, serious drafts are caused on your skin cells which can lead to possible unfavorable health impacts.
Place Humidifier Near Plants
Placing the humidifier near plants will raise the air’s humidity level and improve the indoor environment. Even though it may stimulate the growth process, this method is considered to be more beneficial than other ways of pure energy saving methods as in most cases it requires less water use by means of evaporating water through any device and then consequentially into plant containers.
Place A Humidifier Where The Most Airflow Is
You can find out the size of the area where airflow is not too strong (dust and other particles tend to gather more in certain areas), place your humidifier there. The natural way which plants use when they grow will make leaf surfaces absorb moisture quicker and higher than previously. Due to this phenomenon, you may avoid unpleasant humidity levels at daytime if used as required!
Don’t Place Humidifier Near Electronic Devices
Electronic devices will pick up on moisture in the air and put off heat which degrades performance over time. To avoid this, place your humidifier at least two feet from television sets or computer monitors that intake large amounts of electromagnetic waves.
Don’t Place Humidifier in Corners
Humidifiers placed in not-too-far corners and places that are most likely to be exposed to dust (like low ceilings) will often struggle with reaching proper humidity levels. Also, the humidifier’s location shouldn’t hurt the orientation of electronic devices such as tables or furniture pieces since they react very differently on one side than others amidst chilly temperature drops!
Don’t place humidifier directly under the air vents
Most are shaped like round plates that can sit on top of other objects such as fruit bowls, flower vases, and so on. But there is no need to have one an inch from its corresponding vent! Instead, you should use mid-sized pads regarding their size (only three inches in diameter) then partition a space for it beneath your kitchen shelves or anywhere else where hot air leaves!
Warm-Mist Humidifier Placement
The best place to put a warm-mist humidifier is on top of the table with water bowls that have sufficient space for flow etc. This way, it can make more airflow towards your pet than usual, and at the same time, you won’t lose aesthetics to your kitchen or dining area by placing a noisy device on top!
Cool-Mist Humidifier placement
Generally, a cool-mist humidifier should be placed in closer proximity to your door or along an exterior wall since these are the places that receive cooler temperatures from outside. Moving away from them will only result in improper manipulation of moisture levels which could possibly harm metal objects and electronic equipment.
Covering the surface of your humidifier with a sheet or blanket may seem like an immediate thing to do. However, there are other things worth considering before you proceed! Humidifiers can be prone to electronic blips, mechanical problems, and so on that would require replacement in the long run if they aren’t dealt with properly.
Conclusion
The best place to place a humidifier is in the bedroom, where you spend most of your time. If you have one in every room, then it would be even better. It’s also a good idea to have a humidifier in any room that gets a lot of use. To know more please visit probaby.

Mountain biking terms you should know
It has happened to all of us, we started a new activity, and we do not know many of the technical words or the jargon used by those who have been practicing it for some time. Sometimes we do not want to sound new, and we do not ask what they mean and claim to understand what they are talking about. For example, the mongoose 26 mountain bike has a good body. Although in reality, we have no idea what they are talking about. Do not worry. Below we will leave you a short dictionary with some of the most used words in mountain biking.
Common terms in MTB
1. Singletrack
It refers to a narrow path. A small path that runs through the forest or mount, through which only one bicycle fits at a time, hence its name. So if you hear, “what good singletracks this place has,” you know what they mean.
2. Grip
The grip is the grip that the bicycle tires have on the terrain. If the ground is very loose, “you don’t have much grip,” and if the morning breeze freshly sprays the ground, “you will have excellent grip. ” At first, it can be a bit confusing since they can also refer to the handlebar grips or grips.
3. Drop
This term refers to a cut in the road that must be passed or crossed by jumping. If they are very low, you can choose to lower it as a step, but if they are very high, you can only jump or you will have to get off the bike. In phrases like “on the singletrack, there are three drops that you have to jump to go down the fluid.”
4. Flow
The flow is achieved when you travel a path with fluid speed, a thin down like you’re floating along the way. The flow is when you manage to pass the obstacles of the trail without stopping. A couple of examples of its use would be:
“Ugh, catch a flow on this descent like never before.”
“I ran into a cow on the road and I took off all the flow.”
5. Dropper
The Dropper is a component for the bicycle that allows the height of the saddle to be adjusted automatically. It works with a retractable tube with either a mechanical or hydraulic mechanism.
6. Bunnyhop
It is a cycling skill that is based on jumping with both wheels at the same time. It is a useful movement when there are obstacles on the path, such as logs or a stone.
7. Rocking horse or wheelie
This is another of the cycling skills that, in addition to serving your performance, will also make you look “Pro.” The movement consists of lifting the front wheel and, at the same time, pedaling to move forward.
8. Manual
Sometimes it is confused with the wheelie, but the big difference is that the manual only raises the front wheel and goes for a long time without pedaling. To achieve a manual, it is necessary to pull the handlebars in a standing position on the bike.
9. QOM or KOM
It comes from the “King of the mountain,” which means the king of the mountain and for the female category, we have QOM, “Queen of the mountain.” It is a prize that you obtain for exceeding the global time of a cycling application that automatically times both the descents and the ascents. Obtaining the KOM or QOM has become the challenge of every cyclist to show who climbs the fastest.
10. Bonk
The bonk is a sudden and intense feeling of tiredness or fatigue. It can be caused by an excess of carbohydrates, which gradually leave the muscle groups. So if you hear your friends say, “I bonked yesterday,” do not worry. It’s normal.
11. Flat tire
A flat tire is exactly what it says: a tire that has a hole, which causes the air to escape from it. In addition, it is worth noting that accidents have been known to cause flat tires as well as tire pressure that is too low.
12. Bail
To bail is to escape with the bike. The term appears in phrases like, “I’m going to bail out now” or “if I do not leave within 10 seconds, I have to bail.”
13. Pump track
The pump track consists of a path inside an open space without obstacles where your only job is to pedal as fast as possible to increase your cardio.
14. MTB or bike
The MTB is the most commonly used term when referring to a mountain bike, but it can also be replaced by the word “bike.” So, if they say, “I’ve been biking since I was 6,” you know what they are talking about.
15. Endo
The endo is a type of fall that is very dangerous because it is done without always knowing it. It consists of rotating the pedals around the axis of the bike, causing the back tire to lift up next to you.
16. Strava
Strava is a platform for cyclists that records data by GPS through an application that can be downloaded on smartphones or other devices. Once recorded, this data can be used to improve your performance or simply compare it with other cyclists.
17. Wheelie
The wheelie is a type of cycling in which you raise the front wheel of the bike and keep it in that position while you pedal. It is a trick that is often used in show competitions and is also very useful when you want to cross an obstacle on the path quickly.
18. Track stand
The track stand is a movement that allows you to stop completely without putting your foot on the ground. It is done by balancing the bike on the rear wheel and keeping the front wheel in the air.
19. Climb
When we talk about climbing, we are referring to ascending a mountain or any other obstacle with our bike. It is one of the most feared activities for cyclists because it tests their physical condition and their technical skills.
20. Descent
The descent, on the other hand, is the activity that we perform when going down a mountain or any other obstacle. It is where we use all our speed and braking to control the bike and avoid accidents.
21. Stomp
Stomp is a technique that we use to increase the speed of the bike in a descent. It is done by pressing hard on the pedals to get more traction and, therefore, more speed.
22. Sufferfest
The sufferfest is an event or competition in which cyclists challenge themselves to the limit. It can be a race or simply a ride where the only goal is to test your physical and mental condition.
23. Aero
The aero position is a cycling position that allows you to reduce the air resistance and, therefore, improve your speed. It is done by leaning forward and stretching your body as much as possible.
24. Shred
Shred is a term used to describe the act of riding a mountain bike in an aggressive and risky way. It is usually used when we are talking about descending and involves doing tricks and jumps.
25. Dropper post
The dropper post is a type of Seatpost that allows you to lower or raise the saddle quickly while cycling. This is very helpful when you want to change your position on the bike quickly.
26. Grit
Grit is a term that is used to describe the mental toughness that cyclists need to have in order to overcome difficult challenges. It is what allows them to keep going even when they are tired and their body is screaming for them to stop.
28. LBS
LBS is an acronym that stands for “Local Bike Shop.” It is a term used to describe small businesses that are dedicated to selling and repairing bicycles.
29. Loose
Loose is a term used to describe the condition of your equipment or bicycle when you can feel that they are not working properly? For example, if you cannot use the brakes, but you hear the sound of metal rubbing against metal, it means that there is sand or mud in them and it makes sense to go back to the LBS.
30. Dab
A dab is a term used to describe the act of putting your foot on the ground to stabilize yourself while cycling. It is often used in extreme conditions, such as during descent or when you are riding in very rough terrain.
Conclusion
These are just some of the mountain biking terms that you should know. They will help you to better understand this sport and to communicate with other cyclists. Keep in mind that there is always something new to learn, so don’t be afraid to ask around or search for information online.
What is the best paper or app travel guide for organizing a trip?
In this post, we are going to compare the advantages and disadvantages of using a paper or app travel guide for organizing a trip. For those of us who are already an age, the role will always have that special charm. But, on the other hand, mobile phones are already an extension of our body that we use for everything, so why not use apps to organize trips. In addition, with the mobile, at any time we can consult other blogs or tourism pages of the destination to see what to see and what to do. So let’s go on to analyze the pros and cons of each one.
Paper guides
Advantages
Let’s start with the paper guides. We love the Lonely Planet guides and the Aguilar Country guides. As we have said they have that special charm. Walking down the street of any city with the guide in hand is the quintessential symbol of the traveler. In addition, they are written by professionals who explain the curiosities and some secrets of the destination. The photographs it contains are excellent and the main points of interest are explained in detail. Stop in front of a place, take out your guide and read a short explanation about its construction, its history, what happened in that place, etc. And being sure that the information is true is a great feeling. The price may seem high, but you have to consider the option of buying second-hand guides or selling them when your trip is over. Although it must be recognized that they are very good at decorating the traveling corner of the house.
Disadvantages
On the other hand, paper guides also have their drawbacks. As we have said before, its high price may be one of them. Of course, its “expiration” or lack of update is another problem. It is clear that the Cathedral of Burgos will continue to be Gothic, but the schedules, ticket prices, even in many destinations, new places, new museums, etc. can be built. that will not appear in our guide if it is not recent. And the one that for us is its main problem, its size! If you travel to Milan, do you have to go walking with a heavy guide from all over Italy? Many guides use part of their size to recommend hotels and restaurants when what we are really looking for are monuments, museums, tours, and other points of interest.
And, from our point of view, they also make the mistake of writing a lot about the main destinations and forgetting a little about less touristy or crowded areas. For example, on our car trip through France and on our car trip through Austria we lacked a little more detailed information on some of the less frequented towns and areas we visited, and there we had to turn to the Internet. That is to say, from our point of view to improve them we would have to remove the pages of hotels and restaurants, that nowadays we all use an app to organize that part of the trip, such as Booking. And add a little more of the little known.
New Alternatives
Our admired Mola Viajar travel bloggers, who are super cracks, are daring to create their own travel guide. Made by themselves, with their photos, their comments, their opinions, and also combines QR codes to visit their website or YouTube videos if you are looking for more information or want to consume that information in another way. We have already bought them in your store and who knows, perhaps one day we will dare to make our own guide and if other bloggers also dare little by little, we will have alternative guides of all destinations.
Mobile App
Here we are not going to enter the apps to organize that part of the trip of transport, accommodation, etc … We want to focus on finding a good travel guide. That we can carry easily, that helps us plan what to see and what to do and of course, that it is light, economical and up-to-date. As we have said, nowadays the mobile is one more part of our body. We do not go out without our phones and of course, we do not go on a trip without our phones. So why not use it as a travel guide. Today with roaming, Wi-Fi, and buying SIM cards of the destination country, the mobile continues to work without problems. In the application stores we can find different apps to organize the trip, get to a place of interest and be able to read a few lines about who and when built it, its history, etc. It is a fantastic feeling for anyone who likes to travel and see the world.
Google Travel Planner App
Previously, the giant Google had an app called Google Trips that we liked a lot, although it lacked a lot of content. Now Google has turned it into google.com/travel which, although it takes a lot of the information from Wikipedia and googles maps, lacks a bit to develop that guiding aspect and they have focused a lot on trying to sell flights and hotels. But it still offers possibilities to mark the places we want to visit and learn more about them. And at the end for those less frequented trips, we have the MyMaps tools from Google. In the end, it is nothing more than creating your own personalized map with the places of interest that are of interest to you. In our case, we then share them on our blog to try to help other travelers. You can gossip a bit here.
App To Organize Trip To Part Of Google
Obviously, not only Google has an app to organize trips. There are other apps such as Sygic Travel, Lonely Planet Trips, visit a city but in the end they are nothing more than paper guides adapted to mobile phones, with a lot of information on large cities and crowded destinations. In addition, they have the paid version that it is not clear that it will satisfy our needs. So for those of you like us, a bit adventurous. We have no choice but to simmer our own trip to adapt it to our style of travel.
Conclusions.
In short, at the moment we have not found the perfect solution. But for us the least bad option is to prepare for our own trip. For some, it can be a tedious job, but without a doubt, it is a way to start enjoying the trip before taking it. And of course, sharing that information is very rewarding. Like us, we “take advantage” of the information that others have posted on their blogs. Who knows, one day we will learn to program and create a perfect travel planning app. Where we can all share information about destinations around the world. We need to travel !!!

Easy Way to Do BMX Bunny Hop Like a Pro
Today I’m going to be teaching you how to do the bunny. So probably the number one request I get is for making an article on how to bunny hop.
So, the tips, like weren’t always fresh in my head and I don’t like to make an article but I can’t explain them like really well, but I’ve been teaching a lot of people recently had a bunny hop and all the tips are like super fresh in my head So, now’s the time to write the article.
Basics of Bunny Hop
If you’re searching how to bunny hop chances are. Too impatient to learn on your own, and if you are lazy you can’t get success.
So just bear with me, there’s going to be kind of a long article but I’m going to give you the most like detailed instructions, step-by-step tutorial.
And I promise you’re going to learn bunny hops or your money back. So rather than just tell you everything you need to do at once, I find it easier to tell you, like one thing to focus on at a time.
What we’re going to do is we’re going to combine all those things and then you should be doing. So one thing that people don’t really focus on that much, or the things that you just kind of need to know, like body position wise on your bike before you even get started.
If you’re trying to bunny hop and you’re like holding your wrists like this, it’s going to be nearly impossible to get all the right leverage in the ways that you need.
So, when you got an adult BMX bike its all are the same things you need to do and here you just need to keep your practice ongoing.
So, the first thing I want you guys to do is to just kind of ride with your wrist, angled downward a little bit. It’s going to give you more leverage and the ability to actually do what you need to do.
It’s also kind of self-explanatory, but your pedals should be level whenever you’re doing any trick on your bike, don’t have one up in one down, have your pedals level.
Step One
Step one is very simple here all we’re going to learn how to do is just pull the front end of your bike up. I want you to tell me to take your weight forward, shift it backward, and kind of hang off the back of the bike with your arms.
That’s going to pull your bike up and it’s going to give you the position where you’ll be ready to do the hop. If your arms are bent, you’re just going to be like pushing up and down.
It’s just not going to work very simply, not too scary. You shouldn’t get hurt doing this. Just like I said, focus on shifting your weight forward and then shifting it back and kind of yanking on the bike with very straight arms, arms locked and here you also have some biking safety tips.
You don’t need to be able to pull up your front end very high, but if you are comfortable with it, it’s going to make the bunny hop easier.
So, you figured out how to get the front wheel up. I bet you can guess that. Now we’re going to teach you guys how to get the back wheel up.
This is where that risk position that I told you guys about is going to be really, really important because now what we’re going to do is lift the back end of the bike up by taking our weight from the back and shifting it forward.
We’re not going to do it with the manual tool. We’re just going to lift the back wheel up. Don’t worry about the front wheel right now.
Second Step
I’ve always told people to shift their weight back and then forward to lift the back end of the bike up. But one of my friends was actually teaching someone and he told them to kind of use their toes.
I think that’s a really good example. It can be really confusing at first, but I want you to kind of, when you’re doing it, angle your toes down a little bit.
Then when you’re shifting your weight back to forward, when you going to push, lift up with your toes and that’ll bring them back into the bike up.
Your arms are straight the whole time. You’re just kind of shifting your weight. Look at my big muscular arms. I promise that won’t happen. You’re not, that’s not going to happen to you.
You’re not, this is not going to happen. I promise. So now you’ve got step one master, which is lifting the front wheel up step two master, which is lifting the back wheel up.
You might be like lifting both wheels up at the same time, but whatever, like at this point, I’m just trying to teach you guys how to get your bike off the ground, because you probably need to be a Mexican.
It’s going to feel really good knowing that you can get air without a jump. When you’re getting in the phase where you’re more ready to do the bunny hop.
Then you need to take your weight once you’re lean back and then not really push forward or anything.
I like to describe it kind of like an Oleanna skateboard because there’s a good chance that most of you guys are failed with skateboarders.
You tried that it didn’t work and now you’re on and it is kind of like that motion where you’re leaning back and sliding forward and that’s what propels your motion.
But what people don’t really focus on is how important your legs are and it depends on how you use your foot and the focus point is also so important here.
Cause you’re going to kind of be leaning back. Your front wheel will be up, and then you just kind of want to spring, push forward and then use your toes.
Like I told you, you got to realize that like anything like it’s not going to come like that. It’s you’re going to need tons of practice where you can start bunny hoping high. So, here you need to be concerned about it.
You just need to keep working on it. Now I’m going to address another really common question, concern, whatever you might think that you’re too weak to do a bunny hop, or you might think that your is too. Good news for you.
Neither of those makes any difference. People have been doing super high bunny hops since bikes weighed 40 pounds, and you could take any other partner for riding.
Third Step
Who’s extremely muscular and works out every single day, put them on a BMX bike and I guarantee you that you can bring up higher after like an hour of trying.
It’s really all technique and It doesn’t have anything to do with weight or anything. You’re just moving stuff around your BMX bike and it should be.
I’ve read some articles where they say, if you like, stand over the bike and kind of practice the motion of like picking your bike up and then pushing it forward, that it helps.
I never really did that when I was learning so I don’t know how necessary it is. You can also try using a curb or something as a helper to pop your front wheel up and get your back end up.
Some people say like giving a little pedal crank will help you lift your front wheel up. If you’re having trouble with that and you need to hit it.
it’s really just one of those things it’s going to take practice, be patient. I promise you to learn it. I’ve watched like every, how-to bunny hop.
I’ve tried to just include all the tips and advice just to make your life easier. So, this guy was how to bunny hop and I didn’t really give you a lot of tips for how to bunny hop.
So here you guys no need to overwhelm yourself because you can do it with a different technique.
So, one of the first things you guys want to know is how to be comfortable flipping back because if you don’t know how to put back your knees nice and easy.
Conclusion
So, here we have discussed details of how-to bunny hop and that’s my goal. Thank you visit our web blog. If you want to learn more then go OutdoorXsports for biking pro tips and tricks. You may also like to read the bike size chart, to know which one is better for you.
Hopefully, you guys love the article because here we are trying hard to give you a proper solution.

How to Upgrade Your Hardtail Bike Easy to Do
Hardtails are a wonderful bike and it’s a reason why a lot of us start out on them. They’re affordable. They are great for learning skills.
If you’re an expert they’re still really fun to just go hooning around in the winter on, but what kind of upgrades can you make to your hardtail to make it just a little bit better?
Today I’m going to take you through a few basic and not too expensive upgrades that you can do to your hardtail to make it just that little bit better.
Dropper Post
Now more than most bikes a hardtail is probably going to benefit from a dropper and that’s because you’ve got no rear suspension.
So, if you’re running your saddle up high, because that’s where it’s most comfortable and you start getting over some real bumpy terrain, jumping and go where you don’t want it to.
There is a little bit of difference between a hardtail and full suspension and to know the thing better you should know about hardtail vs full suspension.
A drop is no longer going to break the bike either. They’re actually pretty affordable these days with various cable-actuated ones, under a hundred quid or a hundred dollars.
If you’re like over in the old states there, they’re just going to give you the opportunity to drop that saddle out of the way so that when it gets really bumpy, you’re gonna have more maneuverable on your hardtail.
Actually, it does another thing go on to the days as well. When you have to stop and undo the bolt or the quick release, drop the saddle, put it back up at the end and It’s just a fast.
So, it just makes the ride more fluid and more fun as well.
Flat Pedals
When starting out mountain biking no matter what bike you ride. I would strongly suggest starting out on flat pedals.
We’re going to give you a little tip here, switching to clips eventually can be a really good idea. Starting with flats it’s just a safer option.
You’re learning new tricks and skills so crashes are unfortunately inevitable. So take your foot off the pedals quickly, easily, and safely is just the way forward being attached to your bike and that is no good when you start learning.
So, you’ve learned your beginner skills. You’re progressing a bit and you are getting pretty good. If you do say so yourself, it does mean things are getting a bit bumpy, a bit rowdier.
You’re venturing to some harder tracks, and you’re finding your feet jumping around, skipping about all over the place.
You might want to think about them switching to Clippy pedals. They’re going to keep you attached to them.
I know sounds scary but promise me with a bit of practice it isn’t, but it can give you a little bit more control and a bit more stability when you are riding.
Your feet aren’t going to be like bopping and bouncing around. They’re going to be attached. You can move the bike bunny hop it, but I will warn you It does take practice.
So don’t take that on too lightly and again, actually, there are tons of different clips, pedals, shoe combos out there. So really you having a good thing.
Tires
It wouldn’t be an upgrade article without the mention of tires. How do they relate to a hardtail? It’s all grip.
You haven’t got as much suspension sticking you to the ground so having a really good set of tires on can make a huge difference.
There’s nothing worse than just going out and constantly washing out or sliding around because the tires that come on your bike are just no good.
It’s one of the best places to start upgrading your hardtail bike, actually as well most bikes, it should be the only bit that’s touching the ground and It’s the only contact patch.
When you do buy a cheaper hardtail bike often manufacturer cheap tires on them to save some money there. So, putting some nice new knobbly tires on like this is going to make a difference.
When you are grading your tires on your hardtails you have a little think about the casing.
If you don’t want to go too thin, because if you do well, when it gets bumpy, especially out the back pinch punches and things like that are definitely more likely to happen.
I’ve got trail casing tire on this and you could go into a downhill casing if you want. It’s something working.
Tubeless
You are thinking of getting rid of those tubes inside there. So just do make sure that when you are buying tires, actually that they are tubeless-ready.
Now, a lot of tires these days are, so that shouldn’t be a problem, but make sure they are sending like tr on them for tubeless-ready or whatever, the manufacturer sort of states getting rid of the inner tube is a game-changer.
Rims these days are wider and tougher they’re often factory fitted with rim tapes. They already tubeless-ready, but you can also do this aftermarket as well as special rim tape that you put around and special valves as well. So fear not it’s not like if your hardtail hasn’t come to Australia, that it can’t be done It.
What else does going tubeless and tail then? Well, you’re going to need some sealant inside there, like a liquid latex that you’ve put in.
It basically coats the inside of the tire and any time you get a bit of a thorn or something sharp that goes through, or even a tear in the tire providing it’s not too big, it would actually seal up that hole, which is really clever these days.
There are lots of different sealants out there. A hundred percent need a sealant in there. Benefits of running no tubes. Well, actually you can run slightly lower pressures in your tires as well, lower pressures, equal, more grips. So that’s always a winner and actually, they’re also a bit lighter.
So, you’re going to save a bit of weight as well and where you might go up a bit of weight on the casing of the tire, you drop the tubes, so you drop a bit of weight so it’s almost neutral. If you like, if not a little bit lighter, again, another winner in my book.
Inserts
You’ve done your tires. You’ve gotten rid of the tubes. Congratulations. You are well on the way to getting way fewer punctures, but there’s a step-free insert.
I know these are fairly new things and they’re actually like a foam insert. If you like, that goes inside the tire and they’re there again to designed to help you stop damaging wheels, tires, and getting punctures again.
So, what does an inset actually do? Well, as I said, they’re generally a firm piece of foam that goes inside the tire all the way around the rim.
Some of them will help lock the bead of the tire in place. Some of them sort of float around inside there. So, what happens when you do run those lower pressure?
If you take a heavy hit to the tire and compress it, you’re not going to smash through and either puncture the tire or Marshall rim.
It’s actually liked a bit of dumping in between. So again, it means you can run lower pressures without fear of damaging your wheels.
Again, great on a hardtail, not necessarily needed front and back, you can run them just in the rare is when you’re picking up the front all the time, the rear is going to take the majority of those hits, but they are definitely something worth considering when upgrading parts of your hardtail bike.
Conclusion
Thank you very much for reading those are my beginner hardtail upgrade tips, a bit of a mouthful, but I hope you’ve managed to take some good ones away from it there and how fun shredding on your hardtail.

How to assemble the backpack? Special tips for backpackers
A trip has a much better chance of being successful when it is well prepared. Or at least that you never miss anything while you are on the road. If you are about to go backpacking, it is key that you know How to assemble the backpack in the best way, avoiding having a bad time later.
When you go backpacking, conditions can change quite a bit on your way. Some nights you will spend in hostels, others camping and one or another in some means of transport. The important thing is to know how to adapt to each of these situations.
How to assemble the backpack?
It is important to find out about our route and what variables we can run into. We must keep in mind how long we will be traveling, what type of routes we will use, the weather we will be exposed to, and what services we will have available. It is not the same to do the Austral Highway as to know Cusco and its surroundings.
The most practical thing is to make a list of everything you think you might need. Write down everything that comes to mind, considering any unforeseen events. You will likely end up with a pervasive list, and it is at this point, you will begin to apply “filters” to reduce the luggage to the essentials.
Crossing out the unnecessary
Have you used it in the last month? If not, then it may not be a must. Do you need to wear more sneakers? One pair of trekking shoes and one pair of light sneakers/sandals will likely suffice. Will you wear a change of clothes for each day of the week? Not. An extra change or two will be more than enough if you will be traveling. If you are going to do it with friends, gather your loads when using laundry in a hostel.
Do you need that many layers? A thick jacket and a water cape (or windbreaker) will be sufficient shelter. Consider that ideally, your load will not exceed 20% of your body weight. Once you’ve determined what to wear, it’s time to start weight distribution.
Distributing the weight in our backpack
It is a good idea to divide your equipment into categories, such as rest (tent and sleeping bag), food (stove, food, and utensils), clothing (change, cloaks, and towel), toiletries, and travel items. You can separate them in plastic or Ziploc bags to prevent them from getting wet.
In the lowest part of the backpack, we will assemble the base. We will use the change of clothes and the sleeping bag. We can put the tent, although there are people who prefer to hang it outside to take advantage of more space inside the backpack. It is better to avoid wearing the tent exposed. Outside the backpack, it can get dirty, entangled with branches or it can be stolen.
On this basis and attached to the back, the heaviest items that require greater security should go, such as those in the kitchen (do you remember that we separated a bag for food?). Everything heavy must be next to our back, so we will avoid altering our center of gravity. Otherwise, we could easily fall and lose our balance, not to mention low back pain. At the top, we will put delicate objects that we need by hand, such as our camera and the water cape.
Keep things in small pockets
We can put knives, sunglasses and all those items that we need to have on hand in case of need, along with a small travel kit. Remember that you have a side pocket on the outside on the outside in which you can carry a bottle of water, as well as there is assigned space for trekking poles. Remember to carry these exposed items only when you are carrying the backpack. If you take a plane or a long-distance bus, you must leave everything in your backpack.
Many backpacks today have fanny packs. If this is your case, do not miss them. Secure the load, use the straps arranged to tighten on your backpack.
Finishing your backpack
You must adjust the belt, shoulders, and chest strap. Remember that the backpack should not wobble, it should be well adjusted to the hips (where most of the weight will rest), and there should be a space on the shoulders where you can only reach your hands.
As we already said, you must reduce the weight of your backpack to a minimum. Keep in mind that you could buy things while traveling. If you plan to travel for more than one season, buy the extra clothing you need while traveling. There is no point in carrying those sandals if there are still two months of winter left, just as there is no point in carrying a thick jacket in the height of summer.
Exploration backpack
If you will also do activities such as trekking and leave your backpack and most of the load in a hostel or camp, having an exploration backpack can be useful, ideally between 20 and 30 liters. This smaller backpack is often included in the larger backpack so that you can buy two in one. This does not mean that you can include yours if you prefer.
Finally,
When buying a backpack, you need to be clear about the use you want to give it, the water resistance you will need, and that it fits your morphology. Backpacks have sizes and many other features, so that each person may need a different one depending on their body and goals. Take your time. Consider that they will probably be your companions for years.

Some of the must-see places in Morocco are Marrakech, Chefchaouen, Fez, and Tangier.

Argentina
Argentina is one of the most beautiful and diverse countries in the world (and I’m not saying it just because it’s mine. Unfortunately, in recent years the country’s currency suffered a great devaluation and that makes it convenient for foreigners to visit it. We are also a visa-free country so you know, everyone is invited!
The night in a mid-range hotel in Buenos Aires costs around USD $ 30, and you can get shared rooms in hostels for only USD $ 7 (More information in accommodation guide in Buenos Aires ). Formentera with children: fun and original plans
The island of Formentera is a privileged place as far as nature is concerned, since the great barrier of Posidonia Oceánica that surrounds it maintains its crystalline beaches and with little waves. Despite its size, there are many fun plans to do with children in Formentera, especially related to nature. Do you want to know them?
What to do in Formentera with children
Formentera does not have an airport, so it can only be accessed by boat. The most common thing is to do it sailing from Ibiza and organize a vacation in which you spend at least a few days on both islands, so, here is this list of things to do with children in Ibiza that will surely also come in handy.
The Holed Cave
What child does not like to explore adventure? To the south of Formentera, on the edge of the cliffs, the structure of the Cap de Barbaria Lighthouse stands out. With 44 years of existence, it serves as a point of reference to locate the cave that is next to it. Children will be able to access the Holed Cave through a hole in the ground and with the help of vertical stairs. The cave is a kind of natural balcony from which you will see the sea from another perspective. But come on, what they are going to like is to get into the cave.
Espalmador: Visit a virgin island
If you are excited to explore caves, imagine an island where there is no one. Espalmador is an uninhabited island located to the north, about 3 kilometers long. At low tide, a sandy path joins it with Formentera, however, it is not advisable to walk along with it as a precaution, especially if we go with small children. Ocean currents can play tricks on us.
You can get to Espalmador on board a ferry that departs from the port of Savina, or on a catamaran. Although it is open to the public, do not forget that it is part of a natural park and that there is no establishment to eat or buy. Espalmador is ideal to get away from civilization, practice water sports, snorkel, and let the children use their imagination while playing.
Ses Illetes Beach
Among all the beaches, Ses Illetes stands out because it has been named as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world on several occasions and it is considered the best in Spain (although you already know that here everyone pulls for their land). Golden sand, waters of different ranges of turquoise, and abundant marine life make it a truly paradisiacal beach. You can spend the day sunbathing and snorkeling.
Estany Prudent: The pink lake
It is the largest lagoon in Formentera and it is saltwater. In the eighteenth century, a channel was created to communicate with the sea and could be exploited as a salt mine. It is forbidden to bathe in it, for health and the protection of its biodiversity. It is part of the Las Salinas Natural Park and is a strategic point where, depending on the time of year, different species of birds can be observed, such as flamingos and storks. If you rent bicycles, this is a good place to visit. In addition, here is a fuel tank used in the civil war that he keeps for tourists to take a look at.
Routes and excursions of all kinds
On the island, there are a series of routes designed to explore the natural heritage. Several tourist companies offer excursions for hiking, horseback riding, cycling among others. If you dare to participate in any of these routes, you will be able to discover the most hidden corners of Formentera, safely and above all, going beyond the coastal areas. Games and events at the Youth Center
It is a space dedicated to the well-being of children and young people, offering leisure activities to contribute to their education, fun, and social training. Every month different events are organized, designed for young people between 10 and 26 years old, such as talks, workshops, film projections, and karaoke. In addition, they have ping pong tables, foosball, and other games. It is a good place to have fun with other children if you are on vacation.
The looker
The low altitude of Formentera is the reason why there are no viewpoints, except one at its highest eastern end. This viewpoint provides a panoramic view of the island from which you can practically see the whole of it. What children will like the most is seeing the narrowest part of Formentera, where you can see the proximity of the waters of the Mar Menor at both ends. And the best of all is that there is a restaurant with a terrace from which you can eat or drink while enjoying the scenery.
Interpretation Center of the Finca de Can Marroig
Located in the Finca de Can Marroig and with free access, it brings visitors closer to nature through the interactive information it shares. The farm is a former point of agricultural and livestock exploitation. It has important archaeological sites that have not yet been excavated. With the help of an audiovisual guide, you can learn about them, as well as the history of the salt flats, and the flora and fauna of the area.
The 5 safest holiday destinations this summer, where Covid is under control
Now that we are finally preparing for a summer vacation. The most important decision must be faced: which destination to choose?
Well, the answer is, like all summers, very much linked to our tastes. And preferences but this year there is something more to take into consideration: the new coronavirus pandemic. Yes, because in choosing where to go we inevitably need to know if it is safe. The place where we choose to go to enjoy the sun, sea, mountains, and relaxation.
This is a list of ideal destinations to be able to choose peacefully. Here are the best places to go this summer from Italy: they are close, so as not to stay closed on the plane for too many hours. And above all, they are all in Europe so that any closures are in any case what our country would decide. But the most important point is that all of these locations have very few cases of Covid infections and therefore are to be considered the safest.
Greece
Greece has been one of the most popular destinations for us Italians for many years. Superb in the landscapes of its islands, interesting and rich culturally, close, cheap. And extremely attractive for those who, like many of us, love the sea. From today it has one more ace up its sleeve: it is among the safest places in Europe, and in the world, as regards the new coronavirus.
Croatia
Here is another neighboring country, beautiful and safe: Croatia. We know its beaches, its hills and we already know that cities like Zagreb, Pula, and Rovinj are splendid. Croatia has a cultural tradition that we Italians love very much, that we know and from which we are often fascinated, especially during the summer. Croatia is the closest of all these places: from almost all of northern Italy. It takes just a few hours by car to get to Croatia.
Romania
On our list of safe and perfect European tourist destinations for this summer, Romania is the one that we Italians tend to visit the least. Yet it is a mistake: for lovers of food, cities, and the mountains, Romania is a real paradise. And the costs are also absolutely affordable. This 2020 is the right year to recover: Romania is among the safest and pandemic-free locations on the entire European continent.
Portugal
Here we are at the last destination we want to recommend on our list: Portugal. Of course, it is not really close to Italy. But a few tens of minutes of flight are enough to get to Porto or Lisbon even with comfortable direct flights.
Portugal is not only safe for our summer 2021. But it is also a tourist destination with enormous potential: a sea different from ours, the Atlantic, with places that for surfers, fishermen. And lovers of trekking and clean air are considered almost unrivaled. They take place in Portugal, in fact, among the most important surfing competitions in the world.
But Portugal is also home to cities like Lisbon, whose historic center is considered one of the most beautiful and romantic in the world.

How to Save Money on An Orlando Family Vacation
Orlando – fun in the sun for the whole family. Whether you are looking for a summer getaway or if you are looking to head south for the winter, the warm tropical environment of Orlando is the place to go. When it comes to cities in Florida, Orlando offers a mix of a lot of different factors. You have the beach, you have major tourist attractions and you have amusement parks. Indeed, the amusement parks in this city are some of the best in the world. When it comes down to it, Orlando is by far one of the best places to take the family for a vacation. However, if you are on a budget, you want to be sure that you set limits and you want to find ways to creatively save money.
Here is how to save money on an Orlando family vacation.
-
Make sure that you have a very specific budget in mind
You want to do this even before you book your plane flight or hotel. Indeed, you want to have this budget in place before you spend any money at all. The idea is not to spend too much money because it can be easy to do so on things like airfare and hotel expenses.
-
Make sure that you get creative when it comes to booking hotel rooms.
You could book directly with the hotel and spend twenty to thirty percent more money, or you could enlist the help of a specialized hotel guide. For instance, Hipmunk’s guide to Orlando hotels will be incredibly helpful when it comes to not only saving money but also finding a great hotel.
-
Make sure that you find affordable restaurants
When you are visiting Orlando with the family, you want to be sure that you find restaurants that aren’t too exorbitant. For one thing, five-star restaurants are out, because not only are they steep when it comes to prices, but many children aren’t welcome. This is why you want to find a restaurant that offers specials and allows children to eat comfortably.
-
Make sure that you create a limit for how much you are going to spend at the amusement parks.
When it comes down to it, amusement parks can be one of the biggest money drainers, because not only do you have to purchase tickets for the whole family – you also have food costs, entertainment costs, and more.
-
Make sure that you stick around the hotel
You are paying for the hotel, so you don’t want to venture off too far. There is a good chance the hotel has a lot of entertainment options. You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg getting this entertainment elsewhere. Plus, you have all the miscellaneous costs, like car rental and taxis. In the end, sticking by the hotel will save you a lot of money – just be sure, though, that you don’t order too much room service because that could really start to add up.
How to plan a trip during the pandemic?
Because of the pandemic, many people have not left home for months. Nowadays, despite the fact that some restriction measures have been relaxed, traveling with the ease of before seems to be a distant idea. However, there are studies that show that planning a trip is good for mental health.
In this sense, and after being locked up at home for months, more and more people need to change their environment, disconnect from the screens and connect with nature. But how do you go out into a world where you can find the coronavirus, anywhere?
We know that the threat of COVID has not passed, however, we share nine tips that you can take into account, to plan your next trip, so that you can do it when circumstances allow:
1. Think in the long term, including that you will be able to make your trip during 2021. Today, there are many options so you can buy today and redeem your trip during the next year.
2. Depending on the traffic light you are at, first look for options close to where you live. For example: near Quito, you have options in Cotopaxi, Imbabura, or Mindo where you can leave the door of your house and go straight to the door of your hotel. When the measures become more flexible, you will be able to make regional trips – to the rest of the country – and later international ones.
3. Look for options with flexible exchange policies. Nowadays, hotels and airlines have made their policies for changes, cancellations, and penalties much more flexible.
4. Take advantage of available discounts. Hotels with great effort have made packages with discounts to reactivate their sector and stay operational. It is your opportunity to know that place that you have loved so much!
5. Avoid visiting places where there are crowds. Fortunately in our country, there are several small hotels and in places surrounded by nature. Analyze how easy it will be to keep your distance from other people who are not traveling with you.
6. Find out about the biosecurity protocols applied by the hotel of your interest. It is important to know, How do these hotels handle the protocols? Both their staff and the security they provide to their visitors. But remember, that the responsibility belongs to everyone, so you must also abide by the hotel rules.
7. Set an intention on your trip. Take the time to remember what is most significant or memorable about your travel experience. Maybe remember childhood times? Or the excitement of a special meal? Or the adrenaline that an outdoor sport produces? Or the tranquility that inspires you to admire a landscape? We know that now trips are not going to be as frequent as before, so you should make the most of it.
8. Get advice from experts on the destination to visit, the places of interest, and what you cannot miss.
9. Remember that by traveling, you are energizing the local economy, and supporting the families that depend on these enterprises.
Vacations to the Lands of Literature
If your heart’s desire is to explore the land of the Hobbits or you’ve ever wondered where Mark Twain got his inspiration, you can find answers and more on a literary vacation. Discover the places where writers like Louisa May Alcott and Herman Melville toiled away as they wrote great American novels. See authentic handwritten manuscripts or explore original movie sets designed for film adaptations of famous literary works. Literary vacations offer a rare opportunity to learn about famous authors, their lives, and their work.
5 Things to Consider When Renting a Car for Out-of-State Travel
Many people are going out of town this summer, which means that you may want to start thinking about your travel plans. When it comes to planning, you need to book a hotel, airfare and if you are heading to a location that requires the use of a car, you will need a rental car too. This last one can be tough for a lot of travelers because it can be hard to know what some of the laws are regarding renting a car in other states. If you were going to Europe, you could simply search “car rental Portugal” or “car rental Italy,” but if you are sticking around stateside, you need to make a few more considerations.
Here are five things to consider when renting a car for out-of-state travel.
-
Cost
This is an important consideration to make when you are renting a vehicle because different rental car companies will have different rates. Not only that, but different locations will have different rates too. For instance, if you rent a vehicle at your airport gate, the price maybe a little more expensive as opposed to a car rental place a few blocks away from the airport. Also, name-recognized companies tend to have higher rates than companies you may not have heard of.
-
Insurance
Before you rent a car out-of-state, you want to find out what your insurance company covers. Some insurance companies may only cover damages incurred within your state, so you may have to take out a second policy from the car rental company. This will be an added expense, but it may be important if you don’t have full coverage provided by your primary insurance carrier.
-
Size
When it comes to renting a car, size is an important consideration to make. If you are going out of town with a family – more than three people – you most likely need some kind of SUV. If you are simply going out of town with your partner or spouse, you may only need a two-seater or a small sedan. The last thing you want is to pay more for a vehicle you don’t really need.
-
Primary driver.
Before you rent a car, you want to assign a primary driver. In most cases, you will need one primary driver on the account, so you want to make sure that the person you choose has his or her license and all other applicable information. Not only that, but you may want to find out if the primary driver’s credit score is good or not, because the company will charge more if the credit score is not high – they don’t want people running off with vehicles or not paying bills.
-
Expenses
On top of the base cost of renting the car, you want to find out what all the fees and surcharges are going to be, because they may be a lot different – and a lot higher – than you think. These fees include taxes, gas, and a number of other expenditures that are in the fine print. In the end, you want to make sure you catch everything.

With the aim of being a world benchmark with respect to the environment. The City of New York is increasingly focusing its attention on the construction of green spaces and mobility. If you want to know how to do sustainable tourism in New York.
Is it Illegal to Travel With Kratom in the United States?
Kratom is a Southeast Asian plant/herb that supposedly carries myriad mental and physical health benefits. Over the years, there has been an emergence of establishments like the American Kratom Association that advocate strongly for the herb and have fought against the banning of kratom.
Most kratom advocates would say that it helps manage anxiety, pain, stress, and even opioid addiction. However, many of the lawmakers are in constant disagreement with these supposed benefits. Over the years, they have pushed for banning kratom, but in vain. They feel kratom could have seriously dangerous side-effects if abused.
Kratom is, in fact, banned in some states while others have legislation pending to decide its status. Since there are no federal laws or guidelines and since the legal status of kratom is always in flux, many users wonder whether or not they can ‘legally’ fly with kratom in the US.
This post plans to shed some light on that –
What is Kratom Exactly?
Kratom which is usually available in the form of powders, capsules, and extracts comes from Mitragyna Speciosa – a plant native to Southeast Asian countries. It thrives in marshy regions with countries that have hot and humid climates with plenty of sunlight.
The majority of kratom products are sourced from countries like Indonesia.
Upon reaching maturity, the harvesters would hand-pick the leaves and dry them under intense sunlight. After the drying process is over, kratom is ready for consumption.
However, to give it a more appealing texture for the marketing purpose, harvesters will first grind the leaves up and turn them into a fine powder. This is then packed and sold in the form of packaged products and even enclosed into edible casings (Capsules). If you want to check out or buy any of these kratom products, you can visit kratom crazy red elephant, an online kratom store.
What are the Supposed Benefits of Kratom?
Those who advocate for kratom with their heart and soul would argue that it is an incredibly beneficial herb. Although there is limited research available, it does link kratom consumption with the following benefits –
- Relief from chronic pains such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, MS, etc.
- Better focus and concentration
- More energy
- Acts as a mood elevator
Kratom lovers particularly argue that the herb has given a new life to people who were battling chronic pain and were stressed all the time. They say kratom allowed them to live their life to the fullest which is evident from the reviews left by kratom users on this WebMD review page.
However, despite all the good reviews and arguments, a large number of officials would like to see this herb banned. Those against kratom have argued that there is not enough conclusive research about its true benefits and side-effects.
They further argue that due to a lack of guidelines and research – the potential for abuse is higher for an herb like kratom. This is particularly true for people who are unaware of its proper handling and usage.
Is Kratom Legal in the US?
As of right now, kratom is not ‘illegal’ so to speak. The FDA hasn’t banned it. At least not yet. Therefore, you should have no trouble getting hands-on different kinds of kratom products.
Any federal ban on drugs or herbs has to come through the DEA supported by relevant agencies. For kratom to become completely banned, it will have to be put under the Schedule 1 Status as per the Controlled Substances Act.
Unlike drugs from other schedules, those under Schedule I carry no medicinal usage in the US. Under no circumstances are these drugs to be used. The failure to comply with these guidelines could lead to serious legal consequences and imprisonment. Two popular examples of Schedule I Drugs are LSD and heroin.
Which States Have Banned Kratom?
States can have their own laws regarding which drugs are allowed for circulation and usage in their jurisdiction. If we talk about kratom, it’s banned for possession and usage in the following states
- Alabama
- Indiana
- Arkansas
- Rhode Island
- Wisconsin
- Vermont
Additionally, kratom is also illegal in the following places –
- San Diego, CA
- Sarasota County, FL
- Union County, MS
- Jerseyville, IL
- Ontario, OR
- Oceanside, CA
So Can You Travel/Fly With Kratom?
The fact that there’s no federal ban on kratom as an herb, it is technically legal to fly/travel with it across the United States. However, there is a possibility that if you are found traveling with it in states where it’s illegal, you could end up facing serious legal actions.
There are some places where there can be city-level bans on kratom. Denver is one example of that. Additionally, you should always bear in mind that laws relating to kratom are constantly changing and that nothing is ever concrete. Therefore, you may want to check the specific guidelines to the city/state you plan on traveling to and see how it treats herbs/drugs like kratom. It’s always better to check with the officials of the state first.
Also, the fact that kratom is a relatively ‘somewhat’ new substance in the United States, it’s likely that the TSA officials are not fully familiar with it. They could stop you from getting on board if they become suspicious that you’re carrying something illegal. However, they cannot detain you unless they can actually prove that it is illegal.
When all is said and done, always exercise precautions and do your research.

The 11 best travel tips and tips for traveling
We tell you our best travel tips so that yours is better than any and you can enjoy your vacation to the fullest.
You will have decided the destination -if it is not, you are already taking to enter Skyscanner and look for it- But anyway, we leave you our best advice and tips for traveling that have worked very well for us. Visit India Visa passport requirements for travelers.
Once you know the chosen destination of your trip
Do day-to-day planning of what you want to see, grouped by areas to visit as much as possible.
If you travel to a country where you require a visa and some vaccine
Ask for your visa well in advance if any problem arises, and they do not give it to you at the moment, or you have to return to the embassy or consulate.
The same with vaccines, just in case you had any reaction or side effect, and it is not going to be that later you cannot travel.
Check your passport or identity card.
We know it will seem obvious to you, but check that it is not expired and be careful as some countries require that the trip be made when the passport is valid for at least six months before the expiration date.
Look at the weather forecast.
It may also seem like a tip for your straightforward trip, but to think that, because it is summer, it will not be cold or take, for example, that in London it always rains… lest you later have to run to buy clothes for not having looked before what time is going to do in the destination.
Call or email the accommodation where you are going to stay.
Nowadays, everything is done online, sometimes weeks or months in advance. Unfortunately, some travel websites are not entirely reliable. So, to avoid disappointment and anger later, contact the accommodation booked days before traveling.
Do not trust that the email sent to you tells you that everything is confirmed. Any problem may arise with the reservation, the accommodation has canceled it, and you have not been informed.
If you need any assistance at the airport or on the flight
You must contact the airline at least 48 hours before the plane leaves, whether you need any extraordinary food, reduced mobility, etc.
Tips for your travel bag and if you have to check it in
To avoid running out of any clothes if you lose your suitcase and travel with someone else, or you also carry hand luggage, it is a good idea to distribute the clothes among all the bags, since this way, you will always have something to do wear.
To prevent the airline from losing the suitcase.
We leave you our advice for traveling by plane that, simple as it may seem, has worked for us.
Each suitcase we check-in, we wrap in plastic – everything is fine. And we put around a label that makes it fragile, preferably in red or intense color. Being so striking, it is more difficult for them to lose sight of it, and when they are sensitive, they “usually” treat it better than the others.
We do not know if it is really for that or not -we would give anything to be inside. And see how the suitcases are treated. But since we do, all our bags have always arrived at the destination without problems.
Change foreign currency
As a tip to change money when you travel to a foreign country. We will tell you never to do it at the airport. The change is very, very bad.
As a general rule, the best place to change money is at the destination and in the city exchange offices.
Leave the necessary documentation at the accommodation.
It is best to take photocopies of all documents with you and leave the originals in a safe place, -safe box, well hidden in a suitcase, etc.-, to avoid problems and unexpected visits to the consulate or embassy.
Take out travel insurance.
We believe that it is the best advice for a trip that we can give you.
When we go on a trip, we think about enjoying and living new experiences. And not that something could happen to us. But so that your backs are well covered, We recommend that you always take out travel insurance.
Many companies offer travel insurance and many types of insurance with different coverages. In our opinion, the most important ones to take into account are the health service, 24-hour contact in your language and your trip cancellation service or claim in case of flight cancellation, loss of luggage, theft, etc.
