I am a little behind here! Jameson was 5 months last Thursday, but I have been so swamped at work I haven’t had a minute to myself. I have been working Monday-Saturday and thankfully this is my last week with this schedule. I am looking forward to a little down time here in the future!
There’s also not a whole lot to update on. And I thank my lucky stars for that!
I think back to just a few short months ago and the uncertainty that lied ahead. Wondering which of the Pfeiffer’s attributes Jameson would have. Wondering if he would have mental/developmental delays or if he would even be holding his head up at his point. But here we are and I actually have to remind myself of where we were a few months ago.
I started making baby food this last month and that has been going great! I am not sure if has something to do with him having Pfeiffer syndrome, but he has never been a big fan of feeding. Bottle or boob. I am not sure if it’s because his nasal passages are narrow and it’s hard for him to breathe and drink at the same time, or if it’s just a coincidence…But, he really loves solid food, he grabs for it when I take it out of the fridge and at this point he’s eating it 2-3 times a day. The best part is, he’s putting the weight back on.
He’s drooling (well he’s been drooling for a few months now) and he’s had a runny nose for the last 4-5 days, so I wouldn’t be surprised if a tooth made an appearance sometime in the near future.
That’s really about it! Happy baby, happy mamma!
